Here in New Hampshire, when you lock a self unemployed architect in the kitchen with fruit, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and spices you might get the refinement of a Green Tomato English Chutney that he remembers his mother having made as a younger boy. With a bit of tweeking and refinement he was ready for the big test.

The big test came when his two sisters, Wendy and Kim and his mother gave it the old taste test, and they loved it. We are now sharing this and our other chutneys with you and others. That was eight years ago and to this day propritor Tom Campbell Wilson still makes each and every batch of chutney himself.

Tom grew up in Concord New Hampshire and attended the University of New Hampshire, After graduation he married his high school sweet heart Cecile Jenkins. Together they moved to Charlottsville, Virginia where Tom obtained his Master of Architecture degree at UVa.They then retured to the Concord area where Tom joined his fathers architectural practice and in 1979 they formed the firm of Wilson & Wilson Architects. Tom and Cecile have two beautiful girls and three wonderful grandaughters.
